When a user glides ClearUP along the cheek, nose, and brow bone, ClearUP emits gentle microcurrent stimulation.
This process stimulates the nerves that work through the body's natural pathways. Vibration guides users to the optimal treatment points to relieve sinus pain, pressure, and congestion.
ClearUP takes about 5 minutes for patients to use (2.5 minutes on each side of the face). Initial treatment recommended at least twice per day for two weeks, followed by use as needed.

What Is Microcurrent
Microcurrent is a safe and effective delivery of low-level electrical stimulation. ClearUP has been clinically validated for safety and effectiveness with users 18 and older. The hand holding the device completes the electrical circuit, therefore, ClearUP must be self-administered and not applied to another person. Please only use as directed.
While 74% of users feel sinus pain relief after the first use, the most significant reduction in symptoms is reported with regular use. One 5-minute treatment can provide up to 6 hours of relief. If after 4 weeks of consistent use (2-4 times per day) you are still not experiencing relief, consult with your physician regarding your symptoms to determine what other treatments may be appropriate.

ClearUP has only been studied when applied to the cheek, nose, and browbone area. The recommended treatment area and frequency was used in our clinical trials, is FDA approved, and has been deemed safe and effective.
The vibration of the device indicates that it is detecting an optimal area where it can efficiently target nerve fibers and alleviate symptoms of inflammation. However, it's important to note that this vibration doesn't necessarily indicate areas of notable congestion or pain.
It is normal for the number of treatment points to vary (areas/frequency) for each person, and even from one treatment to the next. Treat the entire sinus area as directed for 5 minutes, and then focus on specific sinus areas where you experience the most discomfort.
